How To Tame Self Critical Minds
Half Day Course
Saturday, 18th October
About this course
If we are excessively self-critical we turn in upon ourself and become disheartened, depressed and anxious. Exhausted, we will not have any energy to engage in the positive change we desire. In short, such self-defeating minds are utterly worthless.
Buddha gave remarkable advice on changing this situation, on becoming happy with ourself and approaching change with a humble confidence.
We will explore:
How to initially calm our internal negative voice and create space in your mind.
How to use that space to notice and deconstruct the negative perspectives behind self-critical thoughts
How to carry your insights into daily life and use daily events to re-train your mental habits and cultivate a positive relationship with yourself.
