About this course

For many people, Liberating Prayer is the moment in a class when something deeper stirs - a sense of connection, clarity, or inspiration that is hard to describe but easy to recognise. This special course offers a clear commentary to this much‑loved prayer by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, opening up its meaning and showing how it connects us directly to Buddha Shakyamuni, the founder of Buddhism.

Within just a few lines, the entire path to enlightenment is presented in a way that speaks powerfully to modern life, lifting ancient wisdom out of antiquity and making it vivid, personal, and immediately relevant. You’ll explore how this prayer blesses the mind, awakens our own pure potential, and helps us feel guided and supported by Buddha as a supreme, unchanging friend.

You will:

  • Discover the deeper meaning and structure of Liberating Prayer

  • Understand how it presents the full path to enlightenment in a direct, heartfelt way

  • Learn how to use this prayer to receive inspiration, confidence, and inner strength

If you’ve ever been moved by Liberating Prayer or wondered why it feels so profound, this course will help you experience its power with fresh insight.
